Comanver (POS)

What it is

Comanver is the restaurant POS built by the same team behind Reserver: till, waiter app, kitchen display and floor plan. Once linked, the bookings that come into Reserver show up on Comanver’s floor, and what happens at the tables flows back to Reserver. No retyping, no two diaries that don’t talk to each other.

What we implement

The link follows a booking all the way, from arrival to payment:

The booking reaches the floor. Today’s bookings appear on the POS and waiter-app floor plan. The table shows as “reserved” shortly before the booking time, so nobody seats a walk-in there.
The guest sits down. Tap the table and the POS asks “Is this the booking for…?”, then opens the ticket with its tables, party size and name. In Reserver the booking moves to “At the table”.
The guest pays. When the ticket is paid, the booking moves to “Finished” with the actual spend, stored on the booking (“POS spend”).
Undo. If the ticket is voided without payment, the booking goes back to its previous status.
Occupancy flows back to Reserver. Tables occupied at the till show up on Reserver’s floor plan for today (flagged when they’ve asked for the bill), and auto-assignment stops offering them to bookings in the next few hours.

Each system keeps its own floor plan. Comanver pairs tables by name (“Table 05” with “table 5”) and, if you’re starting fresh, imports your Reserver floor plan with zones, tables and positions.

What you need

A Reserver account on the Pro or Plus plan.
Comanver with the Reservations module enabled (sold separately at comanver.com).
Generate the POS key in Reserver (Settings → POS) and paste it into Comanver. Five minutes.

Security and reliability

The POS key is shown only once; Reserver stores only its fingerprint. The restaurant is derived from the key, never from the request.
Notifications from Reserver to Comanver are signed (HMAC-SHA256 with a timestamp).
The till never waits for Reserver. Everything the POS sends is queued: if the connection drops, tickets still open and get paid, and sync resumes as soon as it’s back. The floor keeps showing the last copy of today’s bookings and refreshes every 5 minutes.

What it costs

The link costs nothing extra in Reserver: it’s included in Pro and Plus, with no commission per booking or per ticket. Comanver’s Reservations module is billed in your Comanver subscription.

What it doesn’t do

It doesn’t merge the two floor-plan designers: if you move tables in Reserver after importing, they won’t be repositioned in Comanver.
It doesn’t charge the booking upfront; for deposits and pre-auths there’s the Stripe integration.
For now it only works with Comanver. If you use another POS, tell us which one.
