Email campaigns

Templates that don’t look like templates.

Visual editor for email campaigns. Start from a proven template (welcome, win-back, birthday, holidays, menu change) or from blank. Mass sends go out through your own SMTP with a restaurant mailbox (Gmail Workspace, Microsoft 365, IONOS, your own server…). You provide SMTP credentials and, optionally, set a DKIM record on your DNS to improve deliverability. We help you set it up if you need a hand.

  • Visual editor with desktop/mobile preview.
  • Mass sends via your own SMTP, with a restaurant mailbox.
  • Optional DKIM: you create the record on your domain’s DNS (we support you).
  • Duplicate a past campaign as a starting point.
  • Light A/B testing (subject lines, send times).

SMS campaigns

For when email doesn’t land.

SMS for reminders, confirmations, and short campaigns (e.g. "Last table available for Valentine’s"). Sent via SMSUp with prepaid bundles you top up from the dashboard. SMS usage isn’t included in any plan: you add credit when you need it, with no markup from us.

  • Prepaid bundles (no hidden markup).
  • Custom sender (your restaurant name shows up).
  • Dynamic variables on SMS too.
  • Cost preview before you send.

Dynamic variables

Real personalisation, not "Hello {name}" in 2024.

Variables aren’t just the name. You can drop in the next reservation date, visit count, primary tag. The email Luis (gluten-free, 8 visits, last 3 months ago) receives is different from the one Clara (VIP, 25 visits, next dinner Saturday) gets.

  • [name], [trade_name], [next_reservation], [last_visit].
  • [visit_count], [primary_tag], [language].
  • [booking_link], [cancellation_link].
  • Configurable fallback for guests missing a field.

Segmentation from the CRM

Send to a segment, not your whole list.

Connected to the CRM: when you create a campaign, pick a saved segment ("dormant 6+ months", "gluten-free regulars"). Audience is computed in real time, so lists never go stale between campaigns.

Tracking and unsubscribe

Measure what matters. Respect the law.

Each campaign shows delivered, opened, clicked, and unsubscribed. Unsubscribe is automatic: one click on the email footer and the guest opts out of future campaigns (keeping reservation data). GDPR, LSSI, and CAN-SPAM compliant out of the box.

Frequently asked

What people usually ask

How do mass emails go out? From my own domain?

Yes: they go out through your own SMTP with a restaurant mailbox (e.g. hello@your-restaurant.com on Gmail Workspace, Microsoft 365, IONOS or your own server). You enter the SMTP credentials in the dashboard and, to improve deliverability, you create the DKIM record on your domain’s DNS. We support you through the setup, but the mailbox and the DNS record live on your side.

How many emails can I send?

There’s no cap on our side: limits depend on your SMTP provider (Gmail Workspace, Microsoft 365, your own server…). Reserver hands the message off to your SMTP; daily and monthly throughput is whatever that service allows. SMS always go via prepaid SMSUp bundles.

Can I run automated campaigns?

Yes. The common automations ship by default: dormant win-back, birthday, post-visit ("how was it?") at +3 days, upcoming reservation reminder. One-click activation per automation.

What if a guest complains about spam?

They won’t, if you respect opt-in. All campaigns target guests who explicitly consented to marketing at booking. If one complains, you can see when they accepted and from which IP.
