1. Data controller

The data controller for personal data collected on this website is Reserver S.L. ("Reserver"), with registered office in Spain and a contact email for privacy matters: hola@reserver.es.

2. Data we collect

Reserver processes three categories of data:

  • Website visitor data: aggregated usage statistics via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no personal identification). No persistent IP addresses are stored.
  • Contact form data: name, email, optional phone, restaurant name, and message, voluntarily provided when submitting the contact or demo form.
  • Service data: if you become a customer, Reserver processes the data necessary to provide the service (restaurant data, reservations, the restaurant’s own guests). These are governed by the service contract and a dedicated Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

3. Processing purposes

  • To respond to inquiries submitted via the contact form.
  • To send commercial information about Reserver only when you have given explicit consent (form opt-in).
  • To obtain aggregated usage statistics to improve the website.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

  • Your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) for marketing communications.
  • Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) to respond to your inquiry.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for aggregated usage statistics with no personal identification.

5. Retention period

Contact data is retained for 24 months from last interaction, unless you request earlier deletion. Aggregated statistics contain no identifiable personal data and are retained indefinitely.

6. Recipients

Data is not transferred to third parties except where legally required. The following processors are used, all bound by GDPR-compliant contracts:

  • Resend (transactional email processing) — EU/US.
  • Cloudflare (hosting and CDN) — international transfer under SCCs.
  • Plausible Analytics (cookieless aggregated statistics) — EU.

7. Your rights

You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability by emailing hola@reserver.es with a copy of an identity document. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data: in-transit encryption (TLS), at-rest encryption, role-based access, access auditing, and encrypted backups.

9. Changes to this policy

Any material change will be communicated by email to customers and through a visible notice on this page at least 30 days before taking effect.
