What is restaurant reservation software?

A platform that manages the full reservation lifecycle: inflow (web, phone, Google), table assignment, reminders, payment if needed, check-in, CRM, and analytics. It replaces spreadsheets and notebooks while centralising multiple channels (widget, Google Reserve, TheFork) in one dashboard.

How is Reserver different from TheFork or Covermanager?

Reserver charges no commission per booking. It’s a flat monthly fee (from €59/month, or €49/month billed yearly). Reservations arrive directly in your system, not via an intermediate platform. Your guests are yours and exportable any time. TheFork charges €2-4 per cover plus extras for new customers.

What features should reservation software have?

At minimum: own embeddable widget, state-based management, no-show prevention, guest database (CRM), automated reminders, Google Reserve integration, payments, waiting list, reports. Everything else (AI, voice, advanced marketing, real-time desktop) adds value but isn’t day-one essential.
